This black Maserati Chassis s/n 2103 underwent a coachwork restoration at the Bacchelli & Villa shop in 2001.

This 1956 A6G is a rare car originally bodied by the great coachbuilder Frua. After its restoration, it went on to win the “Coppa d’Oro” at the 2003 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este (entered by John F. Bookout). This car was formerly owned by singer Domenico Modugno (1957-1960). Also winner of the “Maserati 100th Anniversary” class of the 2014 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.

1957 | Purchased by the great Italian singer Domenico Modugno in Brindisi and registered BR11188

1991 | Entered in the Mille Miglia with starting number 299

1994 | 1st prize at the Concours d’Élégance at the anniversary meeting “80 Years Maserati” by Registro Maserati and Club Maserati in Cortina, Riccione, Imola and Modena

2000 | Participation in the 18th Mille Miglia storica, starting number 372, Passenger: Christina Baumann

2000 | Purchased by Bacchelli & Villa customer

2001 | Full restoration completed

2003 | Honored as “Best of Show” in the selection of the invited public with the Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este (entry number 78 )
